Runs entirely in your browser — nothing you paste is uploaded or stored. Anonymous run-level outcome counters may be used for aggregate research; URLs, domains, IPs, and identifiers are never included, and no statistic is released below 100 runs.
How to use it
- Paste Ads search terms with their Final URL.
- Add
---on its own line, then paste a GSC page-by-query export. - Select Analyze and review only the returned mismatches; aligned pairs are intentionally omitted.
- Open the candidate pages and compare intent, conversion path, indexation, and query coverage before acting.
Example result Illustrative data
This static example uses fictional URLs to show the engine's three possible findings.
different-pagetrail shoes: paid /mens/trail/, organic /trail-shoes/
Action: test the organic landing page as the paid destination.
splittingshoe size guide: organic URLs /size-guide/ and /help/sizing/
Action: consolidate or differentiate the competing organic pages.
no-organic-presencewaterproof running shoes: paid /waterproof/, no matched GSC page
Action: investigate indexation and intent coverage.
What the results mean
Different page is returned when one normalized organic URL exists but differs from the normalized paid URL. Splitting is returned when two or more distinct organic URLs appear for the exact normalized query. No organic presence means no GSC page row matched that query. The action field is a review direction, not an automatic redirect or campaign recommendation.
How it works
For each Ads row with a Final URL, the engine normalizes its search term and finds GSC rows with the same normalized query. It deduplicates normalized organic URLs, then applies the three rules above. URL normalization removes superficial URL variation, while query matching remains deliberately exact after normalization.
Features
- Three distinct mismatch types rather than one ambiguous warning.
- Paid and organic URLs preserved as evidence in every finding.
- Browser-only processing and required-header validation.
Limitations
- No semantic query matching, crawling, conversion data, or page-quality judgment.
- GSC rows can be absent because of privacy thresholds, filters, or date-range differences.
- Different URLs can be correct when paid and organic experiences serve different audiences or funnel stages.
- Use exports with comparable dates, countries, devices, and search scope.
Frequently asked questions
What exports does the landing-page mismatch finder require?
Paste an Ads search-terms export with Search term and Final URL first, followed by a combined GSC page-by-query export with Query, Page, Clicks, Impressions, and Position.
What is a different-page mismatch?
It means the one organic URL associated with an exact normalized query is different from the paid Final URL. It is a test prompt, not proof that either URL is wrong.
What does splitting mean?
Splitting means more than one organic URL appears for the same normalized query in the supplied export. Those pages may compete, alternate over time, or serve distinct intents.
Why might a term show no organic presence?
There is no exact normalized query-and-page row for that Ads term in the supplied GSC data. The page may not rank, the term may be hidden or outside the date range, or the wording may differ.
Does the tool crawl the landing pages?
No. It compares URLs in your exports and does not fetch, render, or assess page content.
